Amsterdam's Cafe Piazza

There is a wonderful little quiet Italian restaurant at the end of the canal at Nieuwmarket square in old Amsterdam. The owner is a delight. She is a vivacious young lady from Poland who makes you feel comfortable in her place. Agata will answer your questions and help you pick the correct meal for your tastes.

The laid back quaint nature of the establishment will be a true vacation from the noise and mayhem that can consume the inner city.

Don't forget she has some great local beers on tap to accompany your meal. You won't be disappointed on your experience here. Oh and by the way she also has Polish perogis which may or may not be on the menu so be sure to ask.

There Is An Irish Pub Everwhere

Neal Armstrong was surprised to find an Irish Pub on the moon but he shouldn't have been. They are everywhere.
Yes this one is in Barcelona.
Cool looking Med Evil look to it. I didn't drink an Irish beer. I had a local chocolate beer which was wonderful. Enjoy St Patrick's day wherever you are!

Harry Potter in Manchester?

I realize I'm about the only person who hasn't read Harry Potter but I do enjoy the movies. While in Manchester I was drug into a pub and forced to have a pint.  I know it's a terrible thing when you have to go to the pub in order to see all your best friends. But sometimes...  Anyway, while looking at the taps trying to make the drink decision I noticed something special.  What do you know??? Hobgoblin!

The beer was good but it is an English Ale, what would one expect?  They do the ales well. The bar maid wasn't all bad either as one of my colleagues brought to my attention.
